Managed to grab a phenomenal bundle deal on the Dometic Santorini 2x4 tent via the PJ Outdoors website back in July, and was then contacted directly by Chris at the Wicklewood branch to confirm and arrange my collection of the items from there a few days later. An excellent transaction in all respects. The tent itself incidentally has since exceeded even the already high expectations I had of it 👍

This Company supplies, Summer Houses, Sheds and Workshops, Greenhouses, Garden Offices etc., and have a large selection on display at the Notcutts Garden Centre on Hatfield Road, St. Albans. They have some wonderful designs and interiors however, they are quite expensive in my opinion, but great if you have the money.
Well worth a visit and worth saving up for.

Absolute Aladdin's cave of an emporium. From bell tents and classic cooking irons to use for open fires, to the latest bistro grill plate from Camping Gaz. There are huge powered coolers.. And mainly, the biggest selection of EVERYTHING. Tents set up to see and experience. A big bedding department with bags, beds, mattresses and pillows! Absurd choice of seating, tables and all manner of stuff for caravanners, including a camping clothes washing machine! All on display and best of all the staff are all clearly hired by the same person and are all, to a lass and lad, bloody BRILLIANT. Kylie helped me the first visit... top gal, knew her stuff, but when it came to the netting screen shelter I needed, I was handed over to their tent specialist chap, who knew the details. Totally comprehensive shop and heartily recommended. I have been to all the others. This makes Blacks and Go Outdoors look like they don't really know what they are doing. Do you need a choice of seven super-duty types of tent pegs? Do you need to backpack for Duke of Edinburgh? Do you want a glamp set up to utter luxury? All PJ Outdoors.

Really outstanding customer service - like it used to be in the days before internet shopping! We needed something on a tight deadline, and it appeared to be in stock online, but wasn’t. Rather than just cancelling our order, Jordan went out of his way to obtain the item from suppliers so that we could get it in time for our holiday. He really cared and helped solve the problem, which is an attitude I rarely come across these days! So it’s a thumbs up from us.

Firstly thank you to Becky who was wonderful saving our trip this weekend...put short she took it on herself to help a camper in need. Our ageing Vango Genesis 500 airbeam decided to ley us down at short notice, but thanks to Becky a replacement is winging it's way to us direct to the Rugby/Hockey Club we will be staying at...5 well deserved Becky and a huge thank you!

What a Wonderful World
It's not everyday where you go to a place with brilliant ideas and a very affordable prices. Over a year ago I bought a "Camping Frying Pan" which, surprised me because it is "Super Light weight" easy to clean. Today I bought a whole set of "Cooking Pots with detachable handles and tops for under £30.
I explained to the "Manager that I was so pleased, that he asked me if I would do them a Review" I felt I was on the Dragon's Den doing a sales pitch! Rest assured I wasn't. As I explained to the kind Manager, that as people get older we struggle with lifting the weight of kitchen pots and pans, and this was the perfect solution. Let me know what you thought.
I joked to say if they sell out of stock, I want my 5%, he laughed!

We ordered a Quest top of the range canvas tent there. Unfortunately it wasn't on stock despite the description on the website. With extensive actions from James it has been delivered within the said time frame of 4 working days.
A second misfortune arrived as the poles came rusted and some bit were missing, refraining us of setting it up in the garden for a check.
Taken seriously by Lillie of their customer support, everything has been put in order overnight. We have been delivered with a brand new set of poles, along with all the missing parts (pegs are really useful to set it up !!), and the wrong parts being collected at the same time.
From a cold start, it has been wonderfully managed in a very short time.
Thanks to all, we are now geared for our holidays starting tonight !

We needed some tent poles repairing so rang PJ and spoke to Phil who said I could get them repaired while I waited as it was a longish drive to St Albans.
When I arrived at the shop everybody was very welcoming and they got on with the repair straight away. The shop is really well stocked and competitively priced.
Thanks so much to Phil & the team - the repaired poles stood up to high winds and rain very well during our last camping trip

I buy all my gas here price is reasonable compared to other outlets.. staff are helpful had broken arm was assisted to load and offload my car… plenty of parking in front of the shop no long walks to the store… even managed to park next to the gas cage…

The customer service to this company is second to none, first class, we have purchased an outwell Parton windscreen in Oct 2023 and knew there were delays in despatch and not to be expected until Feb 2024. We were kept up to date on ETA,s and the screen was delivered early April . We finally got to use it Early August, and we found a very small hole. Upon our return we contacted them asking for advice we were requested to send in photographs which we did . we heard nothing back from them and then today, a full replacement windscreen was delivered. I would recommend this outlet anytime .
